Planning and pricing

At Brainport Sounds, we provide individual violin lessons for all levels and ages. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our personalized lessons help you grow musically, technically, and creatively.

Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, in English or Portuguese.

Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, in English or Portuguese.

Flexible Rescheduling: Up to 2 or 4 rescheduled lessons per plan, with at least 48 hours' notice.

Recitals: One or two per year, depending on the package. 

Certificate: Offered upon completion of a full package.

Optional Group Sessions: Weekly group classes designed to connect students, boost musical expression, and develop teamwork and social skills.

Blended Teaching Approach: Based on Suzuki for beginners, and enhanced with traditional or other methods based on the student's progress and musical journey.

Time slots are fixed and must be scheduled in advance.

Rescheduling is only possible in case of emergencies and with at least 48 hours' notice. Subject to availability.

If the teacher is unavailable, students will be informed in advance and the lesson will be rescheduled.

Group classes are optional but highly recommended.

They offer ensemble experience and musical interaction.

Group classes will only be offered if at least 10 students enroll in the current year.

Always check availability before enrolling in a group package.

Payments are made quarterly, following the official Dutch tax calendar:

• Q1: January–March (due April)
• Q2: April–June (due July)
• Q3: July–September (due October)
• Q4: October–December (due January next year)

21% VAT applies to students aged 21 or older.

Installment options:

• 20-Lesson Package: up to 2 installments
• 40-Lesson Package: up to 4 installments

⚠️ Important:

• If payment is not completed within the quarter, lessons are automatically cancelled.
• If the student cancels in the middle of a package, a fee equal to 4 lessons will be charged for the reserved time slot.

We offer a trial lesson to new students at a symbolic cost of €10 , to cover materials used.

This lesson must be scheduled in advance.

It's a great opportunity to get to know each other and explore your goals before choosing a full package.

The following materials are not included and must be provided by the student:

• Violin, bow, case, shoulder rest
• Sheet music, stand, accessories
