Over ons

Brainport Sounds is a dynamic music education initiative dedicated to nurturing musical talent and building strong community connections through personalized violin lessons, creative workshops, and meaningful musical experiences in Eindhoven and the wider Brainport region.

Through both individual teaching and ensemble work, the project brings together people of different ages and cultures, combining music education with artistic collaboration. Lessons are offered in English and Portuguese, and the initiative is open to international collaborations across disciplines and cultures.

At its core, Brainport Sounds is guided by three values:

  • Music, as a powerful tool for cognitive development, emotional expression, and lifelong learning;

  • Connection, as music speaks a universal language that transcends borders, celebrates diversity, and brings people together;

  • Community, as music creates a sense of belonging — a shared space where individuals grow collectively and feel part of something meaningful.
